How does the K0 SmartKey work?

Tap your SmartKey to any NFC-enabled smartphone. Your custom vehicle profile opens instantly in the browser — no app download required. Updates are free — just email us anytime. The whole process takes under 60 seconds.

What is NFC?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It’s the same wireless technology used in contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay). The K0 SmartKey has a tiny NFC chip embedded inside the carbon fiber that communicates with your phone when you tap it.

What phones are compatible?

iPhone XS and newer read the SmartKey automatically — hold it near the top of the phone, no app needed. Older iPhones (7–X) can read it with any free NFC reader app. Virtually every Android phone made since 2015 works out of the box.

What materials is the SmartKey made from?

Real 3K carbon fiber composite with a 2×2 twill weave and a gloss UV-resistant clear coat. It’s lightweight, scratch-resistant, water-resistant, and engineered for the temperatures inside a car.

Can I update my vehicle profile after I receive my SmartKey?

Yes — updates are concierge, and free. Email k0officialsupply@gmail.com with new mods, photos, or specs and we'll refresh your page, usually within 48 hours. Changes are live the next time anyone taps your SmartKey.

How long does shipping take?

Every SmartKey ships with a custom build page. After checkout we send a short questionnaire; once you reply, your page is written within 7–10 business days. The moment you approve it, your SmartKey is programmed and ships the next business day (US transit 2–5 days, free).

Do you ship internationally?

Free U.S. shipping on every order. International shipping calculated at checkout.

What if my SmartKey stops working?

NFC chips have no battery and no moving parts — they’re extremely durable. If you ever experience an issue, contact us at k0officialsupply@gmail.com and we’ll make it right.

Can I use one SmartKey for multiple cars?

Each SmartKey is linked to one vehicle profile. If you have multiple cars, you’ll want a SmartKey for each one. Multi-vehicle profiles are on our roadmap.

Is K0 affiliated with any car manufacturer?

No. K0 is an independent brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.
